Your voice for District 1 and all RCSD families

Dear Neighbors and Friends,

Roseville City School District provides 11,000+ students in our community with a quality education in a nurturing and safe environment. Our District supports our hard-working families by giving their children the opportunities, knowledge, and skills needed to prepare for the next phase of their education and future.

Over the last 7 years, I have volunteered in Roseville City schools serving in the classrooms, at school events, workgroups at the district level, and as a leader of a Parent Teacher Club. The best way I can continue to serve the community and schools now is to serve as your Trustee in District 1 which has long-needed representation on the Board of Education.

I am running for your Board of Education because we need steady leadership, common sense governance, and a voice for students and families in District 1.  As our district grows and changes I promise to be a mindful planner, leader, and consensus builder as we head into any challenges that may be faced in the coming years. My top priority is our children and upholding the strength of our district.

Inside the Classroom

From leading art lessons for our youngest students to telling middle schoolers about my job at our local food bank, I am always mindful to highlight how everyone has uniquely different lived experiences and that is what makes our community vibrant. How we help each other out in times of need is what makes our community healthy and safe. As your trustee, I will follow that sentiment so that all students and educators feel respected and supported, both in times of resource richness and scarcity.

Roseville City Districting Completed

In early 2024 Roseville City School District (RCSD) completed the process to switch from at-large to by-trustee area elections. This means that voters will vote for a candidate for the Board of Education who lives within the district of their residence.

There are 5 trustee areas, two of which (Districts 1 & 5) are sequenced to be on ballots in November. I am running for District 1 which includes the following schools: Sargeant Elementary, Crestmont Elementary, Cirby Elementary, and Eich Middle School, and the following neighborhoods: Sierra Gardens, Maidu, Meadow Oaks, Cirby Side, Cirby Ranch, South Cirby, Hillcrest, Lead Hill and Cresthaven.

This map depicts the new RCSD school district by-trustee area boundaries. District 1 is in the lower east side and district 5 is on the far west side of Roseville. Both districts will be on the ballot November 2024.
